DeSantis Landscapes Opens New Branch in Cornelius, Oregon

DeSantis Landscapes today announced the opening of a new branch located in Cornelius, Oregon. The new 15-acre site will anchor a regional landscape maintenance operation, with a plant nursery that includes several greenhouses, a potting station and ample acreage to scale. The nursery will specialize in growing ground cover and bioswale plants for DeSantis projects initially, with plans to add a tree growing operation over the next few years.

Chris Wheeler, Field Supervisor and Plant Health Care lead for DeSantis will oversee the branch’s field operations. Horticulturist Inge Shepherd, who currently handles plant procurement, will add nursery operations to her responsibilities.

“The expansion marks a major milestone for our firm by allowing us to serve more clients across the region,” said Bryan Gyllen, vice president of operations at DeSantis Landscapes, Inc. “To us, this is not just about building a new branch, but about building new relationships, creating better access to landscape services, and innovating to meet a need in high-demand plant material.”

Chris says he looks forward to the opportunity to support the new facility and help clients find increased value from eco-friendly plant practices.  “Chris’ unique expertise in plant health care and integrated pest management makes him idea for this role,” adds Bryan, who says the company is consistently improving its approaches to protect plants from pests and environmental stress, and make plants healthier and better able to resist disease.
