SALEM, Ore., December 16, 2022 — Salem resident Isabel Trevino, HR Manager for DeSantis Landscapes, Inc., was named Employee of the Year by Lawn & Landscape magazine. The publication’s annual Employee of the Year feature showcases four employees across the nation who initiate and lead positive change.
“Isabel understands that family is the most important thing to everyone,” says company president, Dean DeSantis. “Whether it’s the policies we create or the flexibility we have for our employees, we know that everybody’s first priority is their family. We want to be a company that recognizes that, and Isabel’s been key in helping us create an organization where employees feel valued and understood.”
Isabel was Dean’s first hire when he joined the company his father Tony founded in 1974. “In the almost 20 years she has been with us, the positive impact she has had on our business has been second to none. It was a joy to nominate her and an even greater joy when she was selected,” noted Dean.
